Lion

A roaring lion's head, built up from grogged clay with my hands and a few sculpting tools. I set the teeth and eyes in pale slip for contrast against the raw terracotta mane. I left the surface unglazed, so every strand of clay stays visible after firing. It reads almost like carved stone. It's reserved right now, but I take commissions for pieces like this. Wildlife or anything else you have in mind.
