Venere 4

The most sculptural piece in the Venere series. I cut the torso open as I built it, so light passes through instead of stopping at the surface. The turquoise glaze crawled and cracked over the openings. I dragged a dark oxide along the edges to catch the texture. It sits well on a shelf or a desk.
